Today, after weeks of overthinking and running numbers, we have decided to retire in seven years. We will be in our mid-40s by then and would be free to travel the world. Does this mean we will no longer travel between now and seven years? No. We will still do the things we love to do. What will change is that we will review our spending regularly and look for expense items we can minimize or downright avoid.
